Biography

I am Bohan Wu, a MCS student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My interests primarily focus on data infra, especially database and distributed systems. Currently, I am working on database transactions, LSM-Tree and learned index.

I have plenty of significant industry experience. I was a software engineer intern at Unistore Storage team at Snowflake during summer, 2024. My project is to build time-travel-based Change Data Capture stream for Snowflake’s Hybrid Table from scratch. Before that, I interned with Data, Knowledge, and Intelligence team at Microsoft, under the guidance of Dr. Yu Kang. I have also worked at GreptimeDB and TikTok as SWE intern.

I will graduate in Dec. 2024 and am actively seeking new grad opportunities related to database, distributed systems and quant. If you would like to chat, feel free to reach out. My resume is available upon request.
